Raingutter Regatta
Arrr Maties!! Avast, ye'll not want ta be forgettin' that May 15th, 1:00 is when the RainGutter Regatta Race will be commencin! Shiver me timbers, yer old cap'n nearly went aground just thinkin about it! The race , if'n you've got the courage to show , is in the backyard of the Howell's Fort at 2505 Cypress Gardens Blvd. You can take East Lake Summit drive to get to the parking in the back.
All ye boys should dress up as Pirates to add to the fun! Bring drinks and a chair, so you can be comfortable. See you tharrr, Matties!
Awards will be given for best design, most unique, best paint job, and the top 5 places for speed.
The boys design a single hull boat from a block of balsa wood and attach a keel and sail. The boys blow air into the sail and propel their ship down a gutter filled with water to the finish. Here are the official Pack 515 Rules.
